Roger in accounting shows up at the office every day before 7:00 am and leaves the office at 3:00. This is because Roger works in Culver City, but lives in Riverside and these are the most effective hours for him to try to alleviate some of his crappy ass commute.
Roger is not alone. And now, with the help of the am 640 radio duo, John & Ken and the Reason Foundation, he has the chance to be featured on a web documentary hosted by Drew Carey and have one commute free day by being chauffeured to and from work via helicopter!!
If you think you have the most congested commute in Los Angeles, write up your highway horrors, in 500 words or less, and email it to: congestedcommute@kfiam640.com.
Good luck and it sucks to be you!

How does this kind of thing happen? Why would you work so far from where you live or live so far from where you work? Nevermind the gas and saving the environment, it would make me insane. I couldn't do it.
Someone help me understand. I know housing prices are outrageous, but what else?
Thank you.
