That reminds me of when I was living in Glasgow. There seemed to be an endless parade of both teen-aged girls and middle aged women all wearing pastels blues and pinks and other soft pale colours. It was quite creepy all together.

They both look like they had a run-in with a cotton candy machine gone wild. Flowers and lemonade come in pink. Animals never should. Poor dog. I wonder what its name is....Skittles perhaps? Or maybe Necco (as in Wafer)?

Trendsetters always push the boundaries of fashion and get noticed for it...I just hope she really isn't a fashion bellwether--I don't want to open up my LLBean catalog and find nothing but Pink. Well, except for a Pink canoe. That would be okay. And maybe a pink labrador retriever.

Yeah, VS Pink is just a brand and marketing scheme. It is supposed to mean fun or youth or freedom or something. You can look up the origins of it if you are interested. I think it makes no sense, but maybe that is part of the marketing plan. You don't need permission to take photos of people in public places. She'd have to prove slander for it to be an issue.

Marshall...those "pink" pants are just not supposed to leave the house - I have a pair but would never dare wear them past my door...I cringe when I see them on the street. And my heart goes out to the little dog - I feel bad when my dog gets a dumb bandana from the groomer on holidays :(

How come no one has said anything about the dog?? That poor poor dog! If we make the decision to move to/stay in LA, and spend time at The Grove of all places, it could be argued that we were just asking to be subjected to sights like this. But the dog?? It did nothing- nothing!

What I still can't figure out is those stupid sweat/pajama pants with the word "PINK" written right across the cheeks? What kind of message is that supposed to convey?
