I just sent an extensive email to my boyfriend instructing him on how to purchase ingredients for our meal tonight - and at the end, in big bold letters, I wrote: "Don't forget batteries for the digital camera so we can TAKE PICTURES of the tortilla soup when it's done!" Thank goodness he's a total food porn enabler. Christ, what a post-modern kind of problem. Maybe we can start some kind of virtual support group.

there is actually someone who wrote an entire book of photos documenting every meal they ate for an entire year, January 1 - December 31. the name escapes me now though.
