Best Guitarist in Rock Today Plays Tonight in LA

His name is J Mascis. He has long gray hair and looks like he practices Witchcraft, or plays Warcraft.

Indeed he practices the guitar and plays with Dinosaur Jr. which could easily be the soundtrack to a nice carpet bombing.

Bringer of piercing solos and bittersweet lyrics, Mascis and the original members of the grunge-era group begin their US tour in our fine burb tonight at the Troubadour with another show tomorrow.

While it's true that tickets are sold out, LA has a funny way of allowing those with extra tickets find those wanting a spare to meet happily outside the venue on Santa Monica and Doheny in West Hollywood, a city known for nice things happening on sidewalks.
