I was stating my opinion that no artist who comes out of American Idol will ever come near matching the sales, longevity, fanbase, and general career that Bon Jovi have achieved. Oh. I thought you were calling Bon Jovi a coone and something about a hat. That is what is seemed to me.

Again how can you like one version better than one you had never heard before??? Bon Jovi have way more than 8 fans, 100, 000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong. They have been touring successfully for more than 20 years. During their last tour, which ended less than a year ago,they sold out concerts. BTW it is a fact that their concerts last at least 3 hours, and most songs Bon Jovi play at concerts are their classic hits that the average fans want to hear! You really should check your facts PRIOR to publishing an article(or trying to save face with replies to comments). No one is disputing that Lakisha did a good job with TAALS. After all it is an opinion, not a fact. My opinion is Lakisha's version was good~ but better than the original~ doubt it.

No, see actually, it is a fact that Bon Jovi can draw millions of fans to worldwide tours, to see two and a half to three hour sets, and STILL no play all their classic songs. And I can promise you hat noone who comes out of American Idol will ever do that.

It is a fact Bon Jovi does not have enough classics to hold a 40 minute show. But, they can hold a 30 minute show with breaks, they have enough for that. It is a fact Lakisha sang her song better also. Thank you for reading.

This looks like another case of "not checking the facts" before commenting. I agree with those who point out that you cannot possibly be honest in your article, given the fact that you never *heard* "This ain't a Love Song" but you liked the Lakisha version much better than the Bon Jovi version. I think Jon did an increditable job with his coaching. IDOL choosing him is a huge compliment! BONJOVI has been playing sell out shows for many tours. They have many classics and new hits. Do you know how many singers have gone to him to write material/songs for them?! If you don't know much about the band, you should research before you write, any good reporter knows to do that.

Guess you are upset because they don't even play Duran Duran or Depeche Mode (who is that?) on the radio while you are stuck on the 405. BUT you don't have to worry about not seeing them up close and personal when you do attend a show ;) you are almost the only one there!! maybe you are upset your CD player gets stuck with those old CDS while being trapped on the 405.. me, I get to hear Bon Jovi all the time.. Did Duran Duran or Depeche Mode sell over 120 MILLION albums? Can they sell out stadiums world wide? Do either of these 'bands' give millions of dollars to charities around the world? If you were to ask these things and more about Bon Jovi, the answer would be yes. Personally I'm glad youre not a Jovi fan, it leaves more tickets for us, but have your facts str8 when writing about them ok? Enuff hits to consider classic? duh. They play 3 hours when they perform--all classics. I could give you a list, but why bother. Bon Jovi has kicked butt for over 20 yrs...selling out everywhere they go. "YOUR" bands, can barely sell out a 200 seats club. :) HAve A Nice Day.
