There were some exterior shots in Training Day. When Ethan Hawke's character is all screwed up on PCP, he stares out the window at Echo Park Lake.

"bad influence" 1990. rob lowe and james spader. I remember a scene where the lapd pulls a body out of echo park lake..and they blame innocent rob lowe!!! Because like most movies, including "mannequin" spader, is the asshole.

Chinatown - There's a scene where Jack Nicholson is in a boat in Echo Park spying on someone else in another boat. I forgot the exact context of the scene.

Cycle Savages, a 1960-something biker flick starring Bruce Dern I just rented recently has a bunch of scenes at the Echo Park Lake (it's a crappy movie tho)
