LAst Night's Action: Ducks Fly
Ducks 4, Wild 1 - After a wild finish in Minnesota, the teams kept up the bad blood with a pre-game confrontation during warmups. Players crowded the ice with no officials around, but ultimately no blows were thrown. Once the game got started Anaheim got on a roll. They outshot the Wild 39-27 and clinced the first round of the playoffs.
Dodgers 8, Rockies 1 - After resting several key players the day before, the Dodgers returned to their MLB-leading form in Colorado. Mark Hendrickson filled in for an injured Jason Schmidt and gave up one run in the altitude over 5 and 2/3 innings. The Rockies were held hitless the rest of the game. Jeff Kent led the offense with three hits, two runs, and two RBI.
4/20 Special - Ricky Williams looks to return to the NFL and the Rams are interested. He could join some newcomers who have also practiced the "puff, puff, pass" play.
Elsewhere - Another Arkansas star defects to USC.
