One of the many reasons Southern California is great is because most of its people tend not to disrespect others who live outside of this area. We live and let live. I lived in DC for six years and I was quite surprised that people were sincere about taking sides in the DC-NY, Chicago-NY, and VA-MD rivalries. It seems to me that only outsiders would bother to collect and write 1001 reasons that Los Angeles is better than Florida or any other place. I've never been to Florida and have no reason to ever go there, but what kind of sad little rivalry do you really want to start between here and there?
