Not so, Kevin. I was at the friday and sunday Sox-Yankees games at Fenway (I'm a Sox fan) and, provided they didn't act like jerks over-celebrating, we tended to leave the yankees fans well enough alone - and I was in the bleachers for the second game. I'm told it's even less hostile at Yankee Stadium for visiting Sox fans.

The last series of the season at AT&T Park last year was fantastic. It was a sea of blue, with numerous Dodgers fans. I kept yelling, "Dodger Stadium North" with no repurcussions. This was payback for the time I went to a Dodgers-Giants game at the end of the season at Dodger Stadium while the Dodgers were out and the Giants were still battling and "Beat LA Chants" were heard. That will NEVER happen again. They missed the playoffs that year anyway.

I think being a girl gets you a lot farther than you think it does. I've discovered that even if I am not scantily dressed, I can get away with cheering for the opposing team. Guys think it's cute, especially if you know your shit. At least in my experience.

I was cheering for the Twins at Oakland Coliseum for what became Game #18 of The Streak of 2002. The Twins hit back-to-back homers in the top of the 9th to take the lead. When Miguel Tejada hit the walk-off to win it in the bottom of the 9th, I stood, tipped my hat to the field, then my family and I high-tailed it outta there while the Oakland faithful celebrated the win. I'm going with three co-workers (all A's fans) to the Coliseum the first weekend in June to see an A's-Twins game. We're in the $40 seats, so I'm sure my new Twins cap will suffer no more than the odd peanut.

The easiest way to avoid injury while being a road fan is to root for a team that just sucks. You never have to worry about bragging. Sincerely, a Washington Nationals fan

every year the Astros come to chavez ravine, i go and never have any problems...a few boos but no minor incidents to speak of.naturally, i respect im in someone else's stadium and dont look to rile up the home fans .. but then again, i always buy the expensive tickets so i can get close to the field. GO 'STROS!
