omg, the kid blowing his face off right after the mom told him not to was so freaking brilliant 'cuz yeah, *totally* didn't see that one coming!. . . it kind of reminded me of that scene in jurassic park when the kids are climbing over the fence and just before one of 'em jumps down the electricity kicked in. . .

Your critique comes off as wholly sarcastic however you are giving lot of positive nods (although they are watered down) to the breakthrough elements of the film. The film reconciles lust for sex and gore with untraditional plot elements.

Not only did Rodriguez shoot the son in the face, it was his OWN son -- which shows his committment to storytelling and his ability to totally knock down the barriers of American film.

Tarantino -- although his film was verbose and unintelligent in its onset -- created a character in Kurt Russel that completely disobeys the rules of his own image(disposes of verisimilud) by crying like a bitch when he is injured and pursued. The plot may be somewhat predictable, but the actions of Kurt Russel's character are completely disjointed.

Shut the fuck up already about Grindhouse. I swear, sometimes 30% of the posts are about some personal damn fetish. LA, people!
