Indians 7, Angels 6 - If you haven't been glued to ESPN or the Weather Channel, you might not have noticed that snow postponed the Indian's first home series. Getting desperate for a balmier climate, they opted to play their next set in Wisconsin. You could guess there would be some great signs in a game played in Milwaukee between Los Angeles and Cleveland. Things turned out pretty well for the quasi-home crowd. The teams will play two more at Milwaukee County Stadium.
Dodgers 2, Rockies 1 - Russell Martin hit a sacrifice fly in the eighth to drive home Wilson Betemit. Reliever Joe Beimel, though Brett Tomko only allowed one hit in six innings and 92 pitches. He didn't allow the first 11 batters to reach base and held Colorado hitless through four innings ... Jason Schmidt is expected to make his next scheduled start despite leaving the previous game with a hamstring pull. Matt Kemp is on the 15 day DL after slamming his shoulder into a wall during the same game.
Hornets 103, Clippers 100, OT - Two of Elton Brand's 37 points came on a dunk to tie the game with less than 10 seconds to play, but New Orleans (a/k/a Kansas City) pulled out a big win in overtime. The Clippers are now half a game out of the playoffs and only half a game ahead of the Hornets.
Beckham Watch - Becks wants to look hard, or something.
Elsewhere - Baseball score gets, well, ridiculous ... "Luke, I am your new girlfriend's baby daddy!" just doesn't have the same ring as that famous movie line, but it's something K-Fed could say ... Clippers are also into crazy people prices ... LAist Editor Tony is in mourning over this announcement.

The Angels/Indians actually have two more at Miller Park. Milwaukee County Stadium was demolished in 2001!!
