Hey Los Feliz-ists! Ready For Restricted Parking?

parkingticket.jpg

If you’re west of Vermont, and like parking anywhere close your home, you’ll want to block out some time Tuesday night at 7 -- because some folks are about to make everything north of Franklin between Normandie and Edgemont, permit restricted parking. Anyone who’s even visited this area knows street parking is already tough. This proposal will make it much, much harder…and street cleaning days? Yikes!

There is only one meeting to voice your concerns, Tuesday at 7:00 - 3201 Riverside Drive (behind the Friendship Auditorium, across from the Fountain at Los Feliz Blvd.)

Somebody should tell the NY Times No Wheels? No Problem 'cause lately they seem to be scooping the LA times about things LA anyway!

Oh... wait... that's outside my place... nowhere near Hillhurst and several blocks from Vermont. I'm tempted to say "fine, whatever" 'cause I can get a permit, but I cannot figure why my neighbors want restricted parking. I've never had to park more than a block from home and I need the exercise (I really do!)

why not come all the way to vermont? or even hillhurst? i live off franklin bw vermont and hillhurst and think it would be just lovely to have permit parking. parking sucks over there.

this is just ridiculous.
