LAst Night's Action: Busy Weekend

SoCal swiped some wins from NorCal.Dodgers 4, Giants 1 - The Dodger's success against archrival San Francisco continued on Saturday. Derek Lowe allowed one run over seven innings and Takashi Saito notched his third save. Russ Ortiz earned his 12th consecutive loss and Barry Bonds did not take the field. Former Giant Jeff Kent provided all the necessary RBIs with a two-run double in the fifth.

Angels 2, Athletics 1 - The Angeles continued their hot start, matching their 5-1 record of 1991. Like the Dodgers, Anaheim dispatched a NorCal rival in front of a sellout crowd. Vladimir Guerrero had his 10th RBI, tops in the majors.

Nuggets 96, Clippers 93 - With Los Angeles leading 74-66 after the third quarter, Allen Iverson dominated the fourth. He scored half of his 34 points in the final 12 minutes and added a critical steal in the closing seconds. Denver is now tied with the Lakers for sixth in the West, while the Clippers are again below .500 and are 2.5 games behind the Nuggets and Clippers.

Kings 3, Coyotes 2 - Two of the worst teams in the NHL faced off for their last games, and the Kings somehow managed to win. Rookie Anze Kopitar scored in the final minute to end the season with a victory.

Ducks 4, Blue Jackets 3 - Anaheim clinched their first ever division crown just before taking the ice thanks to a Vancouver victory over second place San Jose. With little riding on the game, the Ducks took a 4-1 lead before allowing a couple meaningless goals in the third.
