April Fool! Actually, most of this stuff will happen, eventually. Just use a calendar to check off the waiting period in years instead of months. Except for the Jetpacks and sky trams. I kind of doubt the skybucket thing, but funnily enough some guy did, within the past couple years, seriously propose constructing such a thing in Syracuse, New York, to take people between Syracuse University (which is up on a hill) and the center city (which isn't).
