Tech News Roundup - iPhone Day, Hack the AppleTV and Is Google Too Big?

• Its official, June 11th is iPhone day. Start saving now.
• Is Google too powerful? Business Week speculates that it might be.
• The Treo 755p in the wild. If you still care at all.
• SonyBMG music retires the requirement for new artists to submit a demo tape -- at least in Europe. Now, artists can upload demos to the company's website instead. They will probably still be rejected but at least they can save a little money on tapes.
• The AppleTV gets hacked. What took them so long? Jeez, its been like a week or something.
• Microsoft makes it really hard to copy Windows Vista. Glad I use a Mac and don't have to worry about that kind of thing.
• Speaking of Microsoft, a new Trojan is getting onto systems by pretending to be an IE7 download. Internet Explorer users beware. Also, its 2007, isn't it time to switch to Firefox?
• One very smart person thinks blogs are a good idea. Right on.
• Necessary evil Microsoft Office 2008 for the Mac hits Beta. Actually, I sawy it at Macworld and it looked pretty good. At least the people at Microsoft working in the Mac unit seem to know what they're doing.
• ICANN rejects the idea of creating a 'xxx' domain name for porn sites on the internet. guess I'll just have to keep getting my porn at the other five million sites that don't use a 'xxx' domain. Oh well.
• Do you lie in your emails? If so, you better watch out for this.
• In other Google news, they've opened up their new 'TestTube' site for your video mashup pleasure.
• Need to edit some photos, didn't bring your own computer but have internet access and a web browser? Why not edit those photos online at these favorite sites.
• Last but not least, one person is definitely not excited for iPhone day. In fact, John C. Dvorak thinks Apple should just scrap the whole idea.
