Coachella Secret Show: Jesus and Mary Chain at The Glass House the Night Before Coachella

william reid of the jesus and mary chain

A few years back you might remember when the Pixies did a "secret" show at Pomona's Glass House the night before their big performance at Coachella. Well this year the reformed Jesus and Mary Chain are the special guests at the Glass House on Thursday, April 26.

Tickets were made available a few hours ago and LAist picked up a pair just to make sure everything was kosher. And hey it's the real deal, so if you like the dark, poppy, barbed-wired kisses of the Brothers Reid, snap up your tickets before its too late. The Glass House isn't all that big.

And if you live in Pomona the Glass House Box Office opens in about, uh One minute so get down there.

Also on sale this morning, that cute little Brit girl who everyone just wants to kiss on the cheek and bum a smoke from - Lily Allen at the Wiltern on Tuesday, May 15.

Horray!

Thanks for the tip! Just nabbed a pair.

Thank you so much. This is the best thing thats happened to me since the night before i found out coachella ticket prices.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be there!

Thanks Tony! Checking the internets between Final Four games I was able to get tickets. I was bummed about not being free to go to Coachella this year, but this show will go a long way towards making up for it. This is why I check laist live 4 times a day. Well, that and sometimes I get bored at work.

you're all welcome... to buy me beers at the show.

i will be the very-happy scruffy terrorist-looking guy in a ski cap of some sort.

thank you Tony! i get to see JMC without having to go to Coachella!

There is no bar at the Glass House. Nobody will be buying any beers there.
