There is nothing odd about objecting to smoking ordinances. Considering how the only Surgeon General study on the effects of 2nd hand smoke was thrown out of court for too scant evidence, these ordinances do nothing but hurt various businesses that are proper places to smoke: bars. I won't blame every health advocate for telling the public to stay home and breath nicotine in front of the kids, but that's what's going to happen.

It would be nice if these fine people at City Hall would outlaw all forms of toxic air pollution. Bye-bye 18 wheelers idling on the freeway.

Furthermore, it's very interesting (to me and other bar owners) that Hitler was the first public politician to advocate smoking ordinances. He considered it not very Masterful. Meanwhile, Einstein was known to light up a pipe in class. Look it up.

 You be the judge.
