Weekend Alert: Cherry Blossom Festival

Spring is in the air. And what does that beget? Lots and lots and lots of festivals. Lots of excuses to ride your bike and take Metro. Lots of weekend activities to explore our favorite city.

So not only are we excited about this weekend's Thai New Year's Festival that we told you about last week, but the weekend will also be sharing the 6th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival with Los Angeles.

It takes place both on Saturday and Sunday at its new location - Little Tokyo (previously produced in Pasadena). Even with last year's torrential rains on one day of the festival, 10,000 people still came out.
