Three more months till Idol announces this years winner, it seems as though the losers fair better than the winners in this monster competition. This season has been the worst for me by far. I am thankful we got to see and hear Melinda Dolittle work her magic for millions, she and Lakeisha are the only ones displaying true talent. Mike is correct. Chris Sligh sang over a "mash-up" of "Clocks" by Coldplay and "Endless Love" by Diana Ross/Lionel Ritchie. Randy Jackson got it WRONG on American Idol last night, and I'm guessing the Christine just repeated Randy Jackson's original error (Randy said it was "Speed of Sound" by Coldplay). So much for Randy Jackson's musical expertise. :)

I actually thought Chris Sligh's attempt at reworking "Endless Love" sounded like another Coldplay song, "Clocks." (That piano hook was stolen directly from it.) Either way, it sucked.
