We sort of chuckled after finishing this hike. We stood at the trail head 15 minutes after we started. So much for a big adventure (hehe).

However, there is still value in this eighth-mile hike at an odd cul de sac surrounded by expensive hillside condos just north of Mulholland Drive in Studio City. We're sure the residents of the street do not appreciate so much the public park outside their door, but also its promotion today. If you really want to get a decent work out in, we recommend parking near Ventura (near Tony's) and walking or running up the hill to the park, hike it, and run back. Or if you just want to get out, but are struggling for time, well, like we said, all you need is 15 minutes.

It's a good hike actually. You walk a tenth of a mile and then you hit a loop. Turn right for a steeper climb or left for a more gradual climb on switchbacks. Heck, it's so short, do it twice. The perennial creek that runs through this trail is the most distinctive feature, but also the most endangering. Some of the cliff edges are a little washed out, so be careful. It is also really muddy in one spot (get ready to jump!)
