LAst Night's Action: Surprise LA Team In Pac 10 Final

Washington State never expected this tricky move from Taj Gibson.USC 70, Washington State 61 - After loosing to the Cougars twice in league play, the Trojans avenged the regular season by beating Washington State in the Pac 10 Tournament semifinals. USC led most of the way, thanks in part to 24 of 33 shooting from the charity stripe compared to just 6 of 8 for the Cougs. The Trojan's tenacious D also held their opponent to 36.1 percent shooting.

Oregon 81, Cal 63 - After a huge upset of top-seeded UCLA, Cal just couldn't handle the Ducks. Oregon will face USC on Saturday for the Pac 10 title. USC won both meetings earlier this season.

76ers 108, Lakers 92 - Kobe came back from his one game suspension with 21 points in the first half, but only managed 9 in the second. Andre Iguodala led the game with 31. Philadelphia is now just 4.5 games out of the Eastern Conference playoff race, while Los Angeles is only 4 games away from dropping out of the Western race.

Warriors 99, Clippers 89 - Golden State closed the gap for the last seed in the playoffs thanks to 25 points from a healthy Baron Davis. The loss opened up a five game stretch for Los Angeles including 4 away games and a home game against Detroit.

Red Wings 3, Kings 2, OT - Los Angeles took an early lead after outshooting Detroit 13-9 in the first period, but then the Red Wings turned up the heat. Sean Burke had 51 saves in the game, but Los Angeles was overwhelmed by a 43-11 shot margin in the last two periods and fell in overtime.

Ducks 5, Oilers 1 - Anaheim is back on track with its fourth win in a row and has improved to 6-1-3 in their last 10 games. Edmonton has dropped six straight and due to injury could only suit 17 players.
