If they were just gonna give Jones away like that, why not notify the moneymen at the Galaxy? I'd take Jones and Lance "I'll do everything in my power to keep from playing [in Chicago]" Briggs and start a franchise in LA.

I choked on my latte when reading this on Chicagoist. If I had known LAist were Bears fans AND from Chi-town, I would have read it here first. Go Cubs!

Ummm, who cares? I could go all year without hearing about someone named Sexy Rexy and his football team in some city a couple thousand miles away. In the meantime, the Galaxy's opening game is this Friday. I guess the Chicagoist will be covering that.
