Today is "How Much Do You Trust Meter Maids?" Day

Because of the election that no one is talking about and no one is going to participate in, Mayor Tony has instructed his army of meter maids to take it easy on parking violations "within one block of all city polling places."
The question is, do you trust em?
Motorists trying to find a parking spot near their polling places will not have to deposit money in meters, while street cleaning, time limits and preferential parking restrictions will not be enforced, according to Villaraigosa. It's not that we don't trust them, per se -- we just don't gamble when it comes to the IRS, safe sex, and possible parking tickets."Now there's one less excuse for not voting," Villaraigosa said. "This program makes it easier for people throughout the city to vote, and I encourage everyone to go to the polls on Tuesday and make their voices heard." - CBS2
