You CANNOT find better quality meat than at SOOT BULL JEEP. You can find fancy atmosphere and higher prices, but not better food. And the panchan are to die for.

There is a very amusing sign that smacks you right between the eyes when you walk into SOOT BULL JEEP:

This Is A No Smoking Facility

But of course, you canbarely read it through the haze of charcoal smoke...

you can find better quality meats at chosun galbee, parks bbq, or this other place on 8th and harvard that i don't remember...but you pay for it with a little more...but the service at those restaurants are much better, and it is more american friendly than others. but soot bull jeep isn't bad...if you just want plenty of meat there are many all you can eat krn bbqs strewn across koreatown, with manna being the most popular, and expensive, and crappiest.

korean restaurants are NEVER known for good service.

Please don't write about Soot Bull Jeep. I try to keep it a secret so I don't have to endure a long wait and fight the crowds.

It is the best Korean barbecue in the world, but nobody needs to know that.

The sides are called panchan (or banchan, depending upon how you Romanize it).
