World, The Time Has Come To Push The Button

Crossing the street in Venice Beach.

We love the creative culture of Venice Beach. Somebody actually took the time to create this metal sign and install it at an intersection on Abbot Kinney. Instead of pointing across the street, the arrow guides pedestrians to a liquor store.

It's going to take a little more than liquor to calm me down in an disaster.

Beautiful...especially considering the total gentrification of Abbot Kinney, as well as the horrible long LENGTH of that red light and the many tickets the LAPD have issued for crossing before the green. Go gadget go!

Huh! I saw one of these signs in Culver City last year, I wonder where else they've been installed.

Hysterical! It's witty and imaginative. I love it!

Huhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Touché to the imagination that dreamed this one up and made it- looking so completely OFFICIAL looking, and I would be far more inclined myself to trust the people who made THIS SIGN, rather than the schlocks at Homeland "Security"....at least the old version of H.S.
This sign- or- Dick Cheney telling us all for the umpteenth time that an "attack is imminent"?
I'll go with this....I think it's absolutely HILARIOUS, and exactly what we all need in this post-9/11 world we live in; a good sense of humor :^D
