Sanjaya Malakar must have his whole high school voting for him. Again and again. There's no reason why the kid is still on the show. Now Antonella Barba, embroiled in nudie pic scandal is the go-to girl on Votefortheworst.com, a site that tells American Idol haters who they must vote for, so we expected her to stay this week -- even though she can't sing. But Sanjaya? He's a geeky 17-year-old kid without much of a personality and not much to look at either. Kicked off in his place was AJ Tabaldo, who has a decent voice.
Others voted off were crooner Nick Pedro, Leslie Hunt and West Hollywood's Alaina Alexander. We know that they'd never be American Idols, but hey they all should have had a week more. And yes, it's a cruel thing to have the losers sing the song that got them kicked off. Alaina couldn't get through her song at all and Leslie and Nick were a little off. It's hard for us to watch -- and listen to.

Sanjaya and Antonella Going All the Way? Heck NO! Having either of them stay would be a major insult to the show! Antonella has a likeability factor, she's young and very pretty. She has also been recieving major publicity regarding her nude pictures. I'm sure all of this is working in her favor, keeping her ever so popular amongst the other contestants. Sanjaya definitely is geeky, but he has a spark in his personality that is unique...it seems like he has really underestimated hiself a lot. I wish him all the luck! Antonella isn't one of the stongest of the female singers on the show, but she is getting a lot of publicity. Hopefully she doesn't get kicked off because off because of her racy pictures.

Antonella has got to go. She has no talent and the only reason she may stay on is because she's got geeky little boys like sinjaya voting for her. She was extremely disrespectful to the people who have served our country. The LEAST they should do is throw her off the show...maybe slap a few fines on her for indecent exposure. If you want to take sleezy photos, keep them within the privacy of your own home. America does not need nor want to see them. At least if she's voted off, she'll have a shot at Playboy.

Basically your comments about Sanjaya are total bullshit. I don't know Sanjaya and didn't go to his high school. I'm old enough that it would be creepy if I liked him for the stereotypical reason (that he's cute). However, he is not a bad looking kid and it's fine that teens like him because they think he's hot. And he has tremendous personality, as seen by his performances since you wrote this original article (can you say fauxhawk?). Plus, have you ever considered the fact that people actually LIKE his SINGING? Try downloading the mp3s and looking at the message boards of some of his fans before you pass such harsh judgment on a 17 year old kid.
