Best Police Chase Story Ever

nohosirens.gif

It truly felt like an LA moment. A police ceremony for the 10-year anniversary for the North Hollywood Shootout is taking place in the parking lot across from the Bank of America. The Mayor, the Chief of Police and other prominent figures are honoring the men and women of the LAPD who risked their lives in the extremely long shootout.

Then, out of nowhere, we hear these sirens coming near. And what other than a full-on police chase is speeding by on Laurel Canyon Boulevard with 7 helicopters in the sky to boot. Not only a humorous coincidence, but the suspect in the fleeing car gave us, including the Mayor and the Chief of the Police, the middle finger. Hahaha!

Definitely makes the best fifteen-minutes of fame story. The chase ended soon after at Lauren Cyn. and Sherman Way with a perfect PIT maneuver by the LAPD.
