Or at least he's trying to kill the story of Jesus' resurrection.
An upcoming 90-minute documentary directed by Jewish Canadian filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici and produced by Titanic director James Cameron makes the startling assertion that Jesus was never resurrected -- a cornerstone of Christian faith -- and that his burial cave was discovered in the Jerusalem suburb of Talpiyot some 27 years ago. One more thing, Jesus fathered a son with Mary Magdelene.
Cameron and Jacobovici claim they have DNA tests, archeological evidence and Biblical studies on their side. And on Monday, Cameron will hold a press conference in New York to reveal three coffins that supposedly held Jesus of Nazareth, his mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.
The 90-minute film will be shown on Discovery Channel, Britain's Channel 4, Canada's Vision and Israel's Channel 8.

Bar-Ilan University Professor Amos Kloner, a Jerusalem archeologist who officially oversaw the work at the tomb in 1980 and has published detailed findings on its contents, dismissed the claims.
"It makes a great story for a TV film," he told The Jerusalem Post Saturday night.
"But it's impossible. It's nonsense," he said
Bar-Ilan University Prof. Amos Kloner, continues
"There is no likelihood that Jesus and his relatives had a family tomb," Kloner said. "They were a Galilee family with no ties in Jerusalem. The Talpiot tomb belonged to a middle-class family from the 1st century CE."
To think after 2000 years all we needed is a director from Hollywood to fing out the mystery of all mysteries. Maybe after your done, you'll be able to find a cure for cancer !
More Jewish propaganda. Cameron teamed up before with his Jewish partner to prove the Exodus really happened. Old testament/Torah teachings. So the truth is being attempted to be covered up. The liberal Jewish community really needs to examine itself. After being God's chosen, they continue to distance themselves from the truth.
Looks like a sequel is in the works for the biggest piece of crap movie of the last ten years. This one will be called "the Cameron Code". I've got an idea... with all the evil in this world, why don't he make a documentary about how the devil doesn't exist either.
Jewish people put Him once on the cross and they trying to do that again, we should try to stop them from this.
Who are these two posers?? Aren't these guys the same two guys that said they proved the existence of Moses? Now they are saying Christ never was risen....What a couple of MORONS!!!

Of course it can't be true! The Bible says otherwise LMAO!
I laughed at the comment about the Jews trying to put Jesus on the cross again! Sadly, Victor truly believes what he wrote. Karl Marx got it right: "Religion is the opiate of the masses."
I think Cameron hates Christianity. He hates that his sitcom "Book of Daniel" was cancelled due to Christian protest. I think he wants to stir the pot and put Christians in an uproar. It probably amuses him.
Saw this on Monday February 26th's Rocketboom. And by 'this' I mean this posting from LAist:

What do we all have in common? Hmmmmm?
James Cameron and other freethinkers will question, critique and ultimately debunk the teachings of Christianity and any other mythology for a very simple reason - they can.
It's very easy to do. Unless, enough people stick their fingers in their ears and choose magic and myth over reason.
Just remember, truth is truth and doesn't change with our human comfort level with it.
"Good" and "Evil" are strictly human concepts.
We invented them, and not all of us agree on what
is "good" and what is "evil".
Definitions vary person to person and culture to culture, epoch to epoch.
You once were not here and one day will return to that oblivion.
But you're here now if you're reading this.
Consciousness is an emergent, cumulative property of the functioning of our brains, a product of over half a billion years of biological multicellular evolution. (And as much as another 3 billion years of biochemical evolution prior to that). You can get a lot of combinations in a span of time so vast, and all without a sentient mind "creator" or "god".
Beware of arguing probability backwards to argue that because you exist, a creator must exist. (Sic: "Watch and Watchmaker" argument).
I applaud Cameron for being outspoken against this mentally limiting mythology, as any thinking man should be against anything that limits or DICTATES the thoughts and behavior of people.
I applaud him also for his courage to do so,
when the target of such criticisim (Christians) responds every time as whiny schoolyard bullies.
Christian belief is based on faith.
Faith is based on ignorance.
(Let's face it. If you had the facts,
you wouldn't need faith. In fact, faith would be impossible. You'd KNOW.)
And if Ignorance is the basis of your belief system, and information DOES comes to light that contradicts your ignorance, what is the logical, reasonable response?
To embrace the information, which can be verified, experimented upon and tested again...
or reject it in favor of the comforting ignorance?
Christians and other religious zealots choose the latter every single time.
As Thomans Edison once quipped,
"All religion is bunk".
If you're a person of faith, and you seek paradise, I challenge you to work for it here on Earth. Paradise should not be waiting for us in our graves, but experienced in life.
