Perez Hilton Busted For Posting a Stolen Topless Photo of Jennifer Aniston

For every one of the negative anonymous commenters who complain that we cover Britney too much or Anna Nicole or whomever, we get three times the amount of emails from people with tips and photos and videos of random shit going down.

And even though we'd love to run half the photos that a lot of the gossip blogs use, we know that those are images that could get us in trouble.

Clearly Perez Hilton doesn't mind paying for a bunch of talented lawyers, because in the wake of being sued by a variety of photo agencies, the West Hollywood blogger decided to go ahead and post a picture of "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston from an outtake of "The Break-Up", which has brought a new lawsuit from the good people from Universal.

The lawsuit, claiming copyright infringement, said [Perez Hilton creator Mario] Lavandeira "posted all or part of the stolen footage from the motion picture on his Web site."

The suit seeks an injunction barring further distribution of the picture and requests a court order "directing the U.S. Marshal to seize" the copyrighted material from the 28-year-old blogger.

There was no response to an e-mail message to Lavandeira seeking comment on the suit.

The complaint demanded a jury trial and monetary damages to be determined by the court. - AP

So yes, that's why you see LAist post so many pictures of palm trees and sunsets and when we do we attribute it to the person or agency who took it.
