LAst Night's Action: Lakers Test Bandwagon Fans

I ... can't ... watch.Trailblazers 112, Lakers 108 - When your best player wins the All Star MVP award and a guy from the bench scores 23, things should be clicking. Instead, the Lakers lost their sixth in a row. This is the longest loosing streak in Phil Jackson's career. When he joined the Lakers in 1999 there was a distant memory of a five game loosing streak with the Bulls. He added another five game streak last season. This, as Kobe Bryant put it, is "uncharted territory." When Jackson left the team in the 2004-2005 season, Rudy Tomjanovich guided the team to 5, 6, and 8 game loosing streaks in the second half of the season.

WTF Moment of the Day - USC's hockey goalie mooned the crowd at BYU. Seriously.

Beckham Watch - Becks is getting dragged into Swiss politics and UK-US World Cup bidding wars. Maybe he should take a break and go play golf.

Elsewhere - SI named UCLA's DeWayne Walker best football recruiter in Pac 10 ... There'll be no more dancing at Illinois. Where's Kevin Bacon when you need him? A great tradition, struck down by the PC police, was eulogized beautifully by a college reporter ... FOX thinks they know how to fix sports.
