i thought this film was good and well worth watching there were quite a few bits that made no sense like when he payed barely any attention to the fact his best friend had been killed and why at the end the devil didn't just take the ghost rider curse away from him. and i did feel Eva Mendes did a bad job on this film how ever i did find it entertaining and not just for its humor

Well some of you, I guess must think you know EVERYTHING about whether a movie is good or not. I think you are entitled to your opinion just like anyone else. I think it was a movie well worth my time(which is very precious, seeing as how I am a mature student attending college as well as working). I liked the basic story line, forget whether you think the actors and actress are good or bad. The story line is awesome. I went with my husband and teenage daughter and we all thought it was great. I am even looking forward to the sequel. At least Nicholas Cage can add some dry humor to a rather morbid concept. Good on him.

i saw the movie today....and after reading these reviews, i realized whats wrong with the movie....its fuggin comedy!.......im gonna go see again 2mrw and laugh my ass off!!!!!!

ookkkkk THAT REVIEW is complete fuckin BULL SHIT so w/e who ever thinks this movie is bad is a total fucking retard..its the BEST movie ever..one of my new favorites..&, nick cage is one of the greatest actors so w/e i suggest you all go see this movie its got a great lesson in it its awsomeeeee!!!!!!!!

It's great you guys shared the sentiment. Yeah I didn't mention the 500 mile determined ride into the desert where Elliot is like "well fuck this I'm out". Bad guys were creepy? I was laughing my ass off at them. What was with the guy with the dreads? He looked ridiculous. And that scene where they all confront Mephistopheles in the woods, and they are all standing sideways with their heads turned at an angle like they are the A-Team...that was completely hilarious. "You cannot harm us here, this is hallow ground!" That license plate thing made no fucking sense at all. He destroyed maybe 50 cars while tearing down that street. Plus the detective shouts "I think we got something!" Yeah, a fucking license plate maybe? Now THAT's forensics! Eva Mendes was just...bad. Her cleavage totally saved her. She was missing like what, 4 buttons of the top of her shirt?

I enjoyed the hell out of this. It was god-awful loud, and yeah, Mendes can't act. But Cage was great, I thought. Agreed: Waste of Sam Elliot's character at the end. But tell me you did get pumped when the horse and cycle are both charging across the desert. And I actually thought the five villains were pretty freaking creepy.

agree! agree! agree! The parting scene between him and Eva Mendes was laughable as well... "..This is what you were meant to be..." Her acting was horrible during the entire movie! Good thing I was mostly staring at her delicious tan cleavage. Oh, I also liked how amongst the carnaged miles of wrecked cars, exploded storefronts, and burnt ashphalt, one of the cops picks up a scorched license plate and figures out it must have something to do with all the ruination. "Sarge..I think we have something here..." And what a waste of Sam Elliot's character at the end! The movie had this one chance for a cool ending with "The Caretaker's" final ride as an old timey Ghost Rider...to fight alongside Cage's new timey Ghost Rider and maybe sacrifice himself in battle against the devil...but no! He rides all the way to the place and then....turns around and goes home! LAME! This is one of those movies where you discuss it for an hour afterward....because you are trying to out diss it with your friends.

Nope. I think this movie was honestly just a horrible. Laughable, but I don't think that MSJ suddenly grew enough talent to make a dark comedy. And Rob Bowman directed Elektra. Not MSJ.
