Military Jets Flying to the National Anthem

Back in the day television stations would end their "broadcast day" with an instrumental of the National Anthem accompanied by images of wind blowing through farmlands, of flags be lowered from flag poles, and olde fashioned butter churns being pumped by young ladies in hot pants.

When the song was over, the screen would flicker and a test pattern would appear, followed by a steady, high-pitched tone, waking you up you secret stoner.

If they had these bad-ass jets back then, this would have probably been what you would have seen if you stayed awake that late.
