Tonight, the Mayor's office announced that they will announce the LA WiFi Initiative tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. They say that the network "will be the single largest citywide-network in the country providing wireless, cost-effective, high speed internet access."
How fast will it be? Will it reach the far sides of the city such as Sunland-Tujunga, San Pedro, Pacific Palisades and East LA? Will it have ads to supplement cost like in San Francisco and how much does this "cost-effective" WiFi cost? Questions, questions, questions! All will be answered tomorrow.
