LAst Night's Action: Sorry, Sarah From Brentwood
Colts 29, Bears 17 - If you happened to be near a TV, radio, or computer in the past day, you probably know about this lil' gem. The game was full of rain, turnovers, funny commercials, and a few explosive plays. Payton Manning shed the championship monkey from his back and was named Super Bowl MVP. Tony Dungy became the first black coach to win the big one, but said it was even more important that he was a Christian. On the other sideline, the Bears' D was decent, but not good enough. Their offense was anemic, thanks in part to Rex Grossman's three turnovers. If he isn't welcome back in Chicago next year, maybe the NFL can hire him to plant trees. Or he could referee next year's Lingerie Bowl.
Raptors 122, Clippers 110 - This high scoring game featured a lot of sharing. 12 players scored in double digits. Six were wearing Toronto jerseys, including Chris Bosh with a game high 27. The Clippers are now 1-1 on their road trip with five games to go.
