LAst Night's Action: Duck Flambe

Flames 3, Ducks 2 - It's safe to say the Ducks didn't waddle into the All-Star break. They fell flat on their bill. After loosing five in a row and 9 of 11, it's a miracle that they still lead the division. While they had one of the greatest season starts in NHL history, their goose was cooked by a string of key injuries. Against Calgary, they quickly fell behind and were trailing 3-0 halfway through. Scott Niedermayer scored two in a row to make it close, but the real good news for Anaheim is that they have eight days until their next game.
Beckham Watch - We figured Beck's big move would anger the soccer gods, but forgot it might also piss off his future teammates.
Elsewhere - Allan Iverson was a better football player than basketball player in high school ... USC's quarterbacks coach passes on the head coaching job with the Oakland Raiders. Yup, the Raiders are that bad ... The Philadelphia Eagles signed Saverio Rocca to punt for them. So they got that going for them ... Beckham isn't the only soccer in this country. The U.S. National Team takes on Denmark this Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson ... Get ready for a really sappy You Tube video after the Super Bowl.
