Nicole Lapin to Speak tonight in Hollywood

Are we out of the loop? How is it that we don't know about CNN Pipeline Anchor, Nicole Lapin?

How is it that we don't even know what CNN "Pipeline" is?

Sounds gross.

Lapin is speaking tonight at the LA Press Club at the Steve Allen Theater right on the edge of Los Feliz on Hollywood Blvd.

Apparently Ms. Lapin, who looks so much like Lindsay Lohan that there's already a worship site called LapinAndLohan.com, is going to talk about Time magazine selling out and naming "you" the person of the year, or she's going to talk about so-called citizen journalism, or she's going to talk about the future of broadcast journalism.

We are thinking about going just to watch Kevin Roderick not stare at her like we get to.

The LA Observed editor is the moderator of the "discussion."

Real quick here's where we stand on Time magazine's person of the year: worst ever. The person of the year was Osama Bin Laden who once again eluded the most advanced nation ever while his peers: Bush, Saddam, Rumsfeld had their worst years ever.

Time should have just sucked it up and given it to the real person of the year instead of selling out to the masses.
