Everyone who knows me knows about my undying love of all things Sarah Silverman. I adore her edgy fearlessness and her complete inappropriateness. But…there may be a new idol on my block, named Chelsea Handler -- a comedienne, actress, and now writer. Her new book, My Horizontal Life: A collection of One Night Stands, is out. And it’s amazing.
You may know her from the Oxygen Network’s gag show "Girls Behaving Badly" or from her own show on E!, aptly titled "The Chelsea Handler Show."
I've always been a fan of hers (not turning the station when she’s on), and after reading her new book in less than one day, she may have reached Sarah S. status for me (I added her as a MySpace friend and now frequent her website when I’m trying to avoid work).
In her memoir, the thirty year old describes more than a decade of her most outrageous one night stands in and around LA -- most of which end in humiliation. Delicious. Between her night with a barely-legal cruise ship employee, a middle-aged man who loved leather, and a midget in Mexico -- yes, that’s right, a midget -- Handler has no filter. And by no filter, I mean she talks about walking in on her parents doing the deed, penis size, Ecstasy, midgets, and her penchant for Ketel One vodka. It’s really just too good to be true.

My Horizontal Life isn't new, it came out a few years ago. However, I do believe she has a new book coming out later this year.
