Lakers 132, Kings 128, OT - Even though Sacramento came into the game a .500 team, this Norcal/Socal rivalry produced another exciting game. The Lakers held a commanding 21 point lead, but fell apart and needed last second shot by Smush Parker to send it into overtime. Despite going scoreless for the first 16 minutes, Kobe had 42 points, 5 of which came on free throws towards the end of the extra period. Both teams were without their starting center due to injury.
Bruins 71, Beavers 56 - UCLA kept on rolling and remains the #1 team in the nation. This was their first road victory after ten wins at home and three in tournament play.
Trojans 84, Ducks 82 - USC dispatched another top 25 team, sending #17 Oregon to its first loss. The win spoils this weekend's matchup between UCLA and Oregon, which would have featured two of the nations last remaining undefeateds.
