One Minute Review:
So Courteney Cox Arquette's new venture, 'Dirt', was, as Borat would say, "Dirt from anus". Also, did anyone catch Letterman last night? The first half of the show was devoted to jokes about Saddam's execution, including the Top Ten. I don't think it went over that well, except for maybe at the White House.

sometimes the comments on goodman's blog are better than the blog itself:
First, it's really sad that Courtney Cox had to go on national tv and get Jimmy "I would wank off to anything that breathes" Kimmel to validate her as masturbation-worthy (that's worse than icky luke-warm pity sex!), as though that's some great accomplishment in a society where some men actually use inflatable sheep for their intended purpose...
But it's even sadder than Tim Goodman has to apologize for hurting some b-list starlet's feelings because he wrote something that was entirely honest and heartfelt in a review of a tv show. It's sad that he couldn't just stick to his guns and ignore pressure from Jimmy Kimmel to flip-flop from his original opinion to something that's more in line with the Hollyweird publicity machine.
Tim, do you really think Courtney Cox deserves your apology?? Do you think she even cared who you were before you wrote a scathing review of what sounds like a sad, empty show that she never should've taken on?
I, for one, have zero interest in seeing Ms. Cox masturbate. I would imagine it might resemble Skeletor having a seizure...but regardless, Mr. Goodman, your column is only as valuable as your opinions are honest. Your retraction of your previous opinion seems as empty and forced as Ms. Cox's show.
