New Year's Resolution: Writing For LAist?

As you're mulling over which gym you'll give money to and then promptly ignore for the rest of the year, or which fast food chains you'll (try to) avoid, or which office hottie you'll finally ask out...

how about resolving to be a contributor to LAist?

You know you want to. You know you want to spread your knowledge of LA, the Valley, the fine restaurants in this town, the great music that comes off these streets, the crazyass news that happens here.

So how about doing it this year?

2006 saw LAist rise in popularity like no other year. Even the New York Times thinks we're big enough to poke fun at now.

Most of our posts are between 3-7 paragraphs. Do you have 2-3 posts a week that you'd like to share with hundreds of thousands of readers? Do you want an excuse to be able to interview famous musicians, artists, and song girls? Do you want to do something with all that knowledge you've gleaned from what you read daily on Gizmodo, Digg, and Fark?
