The wifi thing is an outrage. Portland has free wifi throughout the airport. Even Reno has AT&T by-the-hour wifi (free for subscribers to other wifi networks, too). What the hell is wrong with LAX?

I used to think it was just Terminal 1 because that's the one I use all the time (for Southwest flights). Surely the expensive terminals had wifi ... nope. There are some pay networks that show up sometimes, but there's no info anywhere on how to hook up with them.

Mind you, adding wifi isn't like building a new terminal. You plug a little box into the cable and the electric outlet.
