TV Junkie: New "O.C."; Clooney on Charlie Rose; the Killers on Leno; Gnarls Barkley on Kimmel

OK so last night's Colbert/Decembrist Green Screen thing wasn't such a great premise but the line-up was incredible. Due to non-existent new programming somebody here suggested that I occupy my time with porn, but this is the TV Junkie spot, not the Porn Junkie spot, I'm not sure that the LAist editorial staff want that to happen yet, and no one has stepped forward to start supplying me with said porn yet either -- which is shocking, since this is LA.

Tonight - Thursday

College Basketball: Colgate @ UC Riverside (KHIZ, 7:00 p.m.)

The only new prime time programming tonight is on Fox:

"'Til Death" (Fox, 8:00 p.m.)

"The War At Home" (Fox, 8:30 p.m.)

"The O.C." (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) It's all about Summer - and whoa, they meet a raver in this episode

"The Day After" (SciFi, 8:00 p.m.) To lift up those Holiday spirits, why not watch nuclear apocalypse?

"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (TBS, 10:00 p.m.) I like when the cat gets electrocuted.

"French and Saunders Christmas Celebrity Special" (BBC America, 11:00 p.m.) From the creators of "Absolutely Fabulous", an Xmas homage

"Charlie Rose" (PBS, 11:30 p.m.) A whole frickin' hour with George Clooney

"The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS, 11:30 p.m.) Tom Brokaw endlessly drawling about the "greatest generation", Cold War Kids perform

"The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (NBC, 11:35 p.m.) ex-Mr. Sexy Matthew McConaughey, Stern-wanna-bes Opie and Anthony, the Killers perform

"Late Night With Conan O'Brien" (NBC, 12:35 a.m.) Ewan McGregor (you should hear me pronounce his name, it's really funny, no really), Jordana Spiro from "JAG", predatory animal expert Manny Puig (should be funny)

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (ABC, 12:05 a.m.) Sylvester Stallone, Gnarls Barkley performs(!!)
