Lakers 111, Timberwolves 94 - In a fourth quarter featuring both teams' reserves, the Lakers stormed to a comeback by outscoring Minnesota 34-7. With Kobe Bryant resting on one end of the court and Kevin Garnett on the other, the Lakers started the quarter outscoring Minnesota 25-2.
Raptors 98, Clippers 96 - The Clippers lost on a buzzer-beater by T.J. Ford, who had only been shooting 27% until the clock ran out. The shot spoiled a comeback attempt, as the Clippers had been down by 9 earlier in the period.
Ducks 4, Stars 1 - LA loves a winner, even if they're in Anaheim. The Ducks sold out their fourth home game in their last 5 while downing Dallas. After a slow start to the season, Corey Perry looked sharp with two goals.

LAist calls upon all true sports fans to support the hometown, um, troops, also known as the USC Song Girls and UCLA cheerleaders ... USC is obliterating UCLA in football recruiting this year despite the Bruin's upset win a few weeks ago. USC leads the nation with 7 five-star recruits (read: best-of-the-best), while UCLA has just 1.
