Nerf Herder's "Van Halen" to celebrate the Rumor

In celebration of the mere Rumor (sorry Blabbermouth we need to at least read it on Guitar World), LAist will be dancing the night away to all the classic Van Halen tunes today because of word that David Lee Roth might be rejoining the band.

In our iTunes mix will be the classic Nerf Herder tune "Van Halen" which encapsulates how we felt about the original lineup, the break-up, and the Sammy Hagar years (for the exception of the tunes "Get Up" and "Right Now").

Nerf Herder is the Santa Barbara-based band lead by Parry Gripp, the world-renowned orchid expert. The band has released several excellent records but is probably best known for performing the theme song of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer TV series, which can be seen and heard after the jump.
