Gwen might be an Orange County girl -- as she proudly states in her new CD "The Sweet Escape" -- but we were under the impression that she had love for the City of Angels, a place she resided (Los Feliz whoot whoot) for many years, until she met that pretty boy from Bush.
But we guess we were, like, totally wrong.
The skinny blonde released her tour dates recently, and we see that she's playing places like Holmdel, NJ, Wantagh, NY, and Uncasville, CT; but if we in LA want to see our favorite NDer or dance along with the Harajuku girls, we've either got to haul ass up to Bakersfield in the spring, or brave the great unknown behind the Orange Curtain this summer.
No doubt this clearly means that she's still in love with Tony and is trying to play hard-to-get.

I'm thinking that the MGM Grand contract may prevent her from playing LA before she plays there. That way they can draw all Gwen's high rolling fans such as yourself to their casino.
She needs to lower that nose of hers. She's not that great live. This may be a blessing in disguise, for L.A.
because, unlike Jenn, i enjoy her live performancing, im hoping that some of those open dates before the MGM show might have our Gwen playing a radio-sponsored mega concert ala Weenie Roast of some kind.

What's with the thought bubble on photo. I've only seen that on www.badnewsdaily.com.
you need to get out more often then. im not sure who really started it or made it more famous but it's often done on gossip websites where the blogger doesnt want to either credit the photographer or wants to take advantage of the Fair Use law that says if you're using the photo as satire you dont have to pay for it.
Perez Hilton comes to mind as one who does it in pink as does Pink is the New Blog however the latter sources his photos and appears to have a deal with the photographers whereas Perez apparently doesnt.
Perez's, like this one is also pretty sloppy.
Anyways, i had a few extra minutes and i thought it would be fun, since we're simply poking fun at Gwen and know that she will probably make her way to our fair city at some point. it just seemed like an obvious hole in her sched.

She's supposedly trying to hit up areas she *didn't* go to last tour. I don't think she played any of those places last year.
