For a city that loves their superstars so much, Manny Ramirez might leave Boston and nobody would care... unless he goes to the Yankees. But the best rumors have him coming to Chavez Ravine.
As much as LAist loves baseball, the Dodgers, and Dodger Stadium, it's been hard to cheer for anyone lately in Dodger Blue not named Nomah. Manny could solve that problem.
Here's what people in Beantown are saying:

red sox west would be (infinitely) improved ... and manny is a perfect fit for the "carefree" dodgers, but i keep hoping (against hope) that andruw jones - and NOT j.d. drew - somehow replaces manny in boston ...

Be careful what you wish for, gang. If Manny comes to L.A. then decides he doesn't want to be a Dodger, then he'll show up when he wants to for the duration. This line about Boston loving their stars is crap when it comes to this guy. There will be no love lost no matter where he goes.
