LAst Night's Action: Clippers Win, Phil Jackson Pays

The Grizzlie's Mike Miller experiences a wardrobe malfunction.

Clippers 105, Grizzlies 90 - The Clips have yet to win on the road, but a home victory over Memphis pushed their record to 7-7 and snapped a five game skid, much to Mike Miller's dismay (left). The Clipper's record would be good enough for first place in the Atlantic Division. Too bad they don't play anywhere in the East.

After the game, Elton Brand told reporters, "We're 7-1 at home, and we still feel we gave one away against Seattle here. So we feel like we should be undefeated at home." Cocky. We like it. Unfortunately the next home game is against a team that also calls the Staples Center home and is sitting atop the Clipper's own Pacific Division. Look for the Lakers and Clippers to duke it out on Saturday after that other battle for LA bragging rights.

Elsewhere - The Kings and Ducks were off the ice, but both resume Thursday against Phonex and Vancouver, respectively ... UCLA has finally picked somebody to lead them against USC this Saturday ... Lakers coach Phil Jackson was fined $25,000 for complaining about the refs ... If the cold snap makes you long for Spring Training, check out who'll be wearing new threads this summer.
