LAst Night's Action - USC Up, Clippers Down, Kings Win!

USC 44, Notre Dame 24 - Only because the Trojans got a little sloppy was this game even somewhat watchable. Basically SC toyed and played with the Irish like a cat does with a mouse that it doesn't want to kill until it realizes that it's not moving any more. UCLA's only hope is they can distract them next week with something shiny on the end of a stick.

Timberwolves 104, Clippers 96 - When the Clippers decided to check out during the fourth quarter, Minnesota's #1 draft pick Randy Foye took it as a cue to make his season premiere. The 'Nova star scored 14 points in the fourth and the entire Clips only scored 15 in a game of streaks. Sam Cassell scored 28 in the first 36 minutes but could only score 3 in the final quarter.

Kings 3, Flames 1 - Mathieu Garon racked up 22 saves and the Kings scored on two power plays as LA won for the just the fifth time in their last 22 games.
