Hollywood Christmas Parade Street Closures

hollywood christmas parade

Sure it's a little cheesy, but what isn't in Hollywood?

This year the Hollywood Christmas Parade celebrates it's 75th anniversary so you've gotta give it props.

And if you live in Hollywood or plan on driving through it this weekend you should know what streets will be closed so here's the four eleven. Parade map and closures after the proverbial jump.

By the way, the parade starts at 5pm today tomorrow and LAist recommends taking our beloved subway and getting off at either the Highland station or Vine.

thanks for the heads up. i'm heading out to hollywood this afternoon.

correction - the parade isn't today, it's tomorrow (sunday).

As a resident of Hollywood, the street closures make me nuts every year.

Although you'll probably be able to see the parade better at home, I hope all of you who do come into Hollywood (via that subway, of course. You're insane if you drive here tomorrow) have a great time and stay the hell off my lawn.

I'll be watching the parade on TV while drinking heavily.

Cheers.

I love it when a plan comes together.
