Tuesday Night

"Rachael Ray's Thanksgiving in 60" (FOOD, 6:00 p.m.) If you're in need of last minute T-giving ideas watch this evil little sprite dish them out

"Beauty and the Beast" (IFC, 6:00 p.m.) Director Jean Cocteau's 1946 surreal take on the fairy tale. Hey, at least I'm not pushing you to watch Eisenstein's "Alexander Nevsky" at 9:25 p.m.

"NHL Hockey" (PRIME, 7:00 p.m.) Sharks @ Ducks

"NBA Basketball" (the CW or FSW, 7:30 p.m.) Clippers @ Lakers - an LA rumble. BTW, this game is pre-empting a new episode of "Veronica Mars" which is guest-starring Patty Hearst(!) dunno if/when it is rescheduled

"NCIS/The Unit/3 Lbs." (CBS, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.) All new episodes.

"Tony Bennett: An American Classic" (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) Get out the cocktail shaker and watch the last of the smooth ones perform duets with an odd cavalcade of stars.

"American Music Awards" (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) If you must watch it, then here it is.

"Standoff/House" (FOX, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.) New episodes.

"Nip / Tuck" (FX, 10:00 p.m.) New episode, feels like filler but there will probably be some ass in this one.

"The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS, 11:30 p.m.): Hug(e)h Jackman, Chris Elliott pays a visit, NASCAR racer Jimmie Johnson

"The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (NBC, 11:35 p.m.): Denzel Washington pushing "Deja Vu", Catherine O'Hara is on pushing the new Christopher Guest flick "For Your Consideration", Jerry Lee Lewis performs with Kid Rock(!)

"Late Night With Conan O'Brien" (NBC, 12:35 a.m.): James Spader (can he really be on just to push "Boston Legal"?), Amy Sedaris just being herself and probably pushing "Strangers With Candy" DVD, Robyn Hitchcock (is alive!)
